Calculate UAE VAT (5%) on an amount — either adding VAT on top of a net amount or extracting it from a total that already includes VAT. AED 1,000 with 5% VAT added comes to AED 1,050, while extracting VAT from an AED 1,050 total that already includes it correctly returns the same AED 1,000 net figure and AED 50 tax amount.

Mode Choose one
Pick 'Add 5% VAT' if your amount has no VAT yet. Pick 'Extract from total' if the VAT is already inside the amount.
