Regex pattern (no slashes) Text
The pattern without slashes, e.g. \d+ matches numbers.
Example: \d+

Flags (e.g. gi) Text
Options: g finds all matches, i ignores capital letters, m treats each line separately.

Test string Text box
The text you want to test the pattern against.

Press “Test”
Click the button under the boxes. If something is missing or not valid, a short message tells you which box to fix.

Read your result
Your answer appears under the button, with a short note in plain words where it helps. Change any box and press again to compare different numbers.
